WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
GASP! is a womxn-led theatre company on a mission to create comedic, throught-provoking performances that express empowerment through mockery from a womxn’s perspective.
Through farce, fake moustaches and feminism, GASP!’s focus is on exploring everyday situations in quick witted, risqué performances that promise a good night out.
GASP! were most recently recipients of the Propel Associate Programme at Mayflower Southampton from 2022 – 2025.
GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS
Girls Will Be Girls dives into the antics of a struggling bar. The matriarch and determined manager, Cheryl, resorts to unconventional methods for survival; such as running a top secret, illegal strip club, conning punters and taking advantage of her staff. A lively team of bartenders and power-hungry bouncers encounter a mix of colourful patrons, all multi-rolled by the cast of four womxn.
This production is GASP!’s third original comedy play and first foray into original music. Girls Will Be Girls is currently in development, with Work-in-Progress performances to be announced for early 2027.
